Is it just for Slot Machines?

No - we started with coin-op machines simply because that's what we're best known for and have the most historic data on.

There's a mistake on a page / wrong photo displayed etc...

There may be mistakes due to the way data was initially bulk processed from our existing auction records. The thousands of records are constantly improved and added to as they are manually checked. If you spot a mistake or have any additional information, please click the 'Report Mistake' button on the relevant page, which will help to improve the information for the benefit of all fellow collectors.

What's the 'Virtual Collection' thing?

You can add items from the database to your Virtual Collection to mirror your real-life collection. We can then alert you when other collectors are looking to buy something that you own. We'll also be able to give a rough current valuation based on historic market data, which could be useful for your insurance purposes etc.

Naturally all information is strictly confidential, and other collectors will never be able to see what's in your virtual collection. You don't have to use this facility in any way for the site to work, it is a purely optional feature.

What's the 'Favourites List' thing?

Think of it as our version of a Watch List - but much better!

It is very easy to find a particular type of item, or those by a particular maker with our search tools. However, if you're perhaps interested in anything related to Golf, or anything of an Art Deco style, for example, that's where the Favourites List comes in. As you browse the site and come across items that take your fancy, just click Favourites to easily find them again.

Unlike eBay etc. the real power of our Favourites system is that we can alert you the instant any of those items become available at any time in the future without you having to do anything! So you don't miss the chance to add a rare piece to your collection, even when you're too busy to regularly check the site for newly listed items. Genius!

How secure is my information?

There's no better security than not putting information at risk in the first place. That's our unique approach to security and privacy:

Unlike just about every other website on the planet, we're NOT interested in harvesting every one of your intimate details to sell to the mega-corps. We just don't care what other websites you've visited, what you had for breakfast, what model iPhone you've got, or who you chat to on facebook.
The ONLY information we will ever have or need is what you can see at all times on your account page.
Every website should be like that. Few are!

We're working on a unique method whereby NONE of your personal information will ever be transmitted by, or stored on, our website servers - apart from just your email address and password of course so that you can log in.

If you choose to buy or sell with us, the other limited information we'll need from you (which, like every UK business we're required to obtain by KYC or 'Know Your Customer' law), such as your address and payment details, will all be stored offline.

In a worst possible case scenario of the website being attacked, there is nothing to see other than a list of email addresses with a bunch of codes relating to items in the database - which just looks something like: "someone@emailaddress.com 356, bg454, 1298yt, 43wdf, 67313...."

When there's no information to steal, there's zero risk of it being stolen. It really is that simple.
