It's My Towel
circa 2008 by Tim Douglas

Details:
Tim describes the piece: "The lady in the bath idea is an early piece, in a more primative style than later automata. The idea for the piece came as a resullt of thinking about the movements of animals and I wanted to create a whimsical automaton featuring several animals with the dog as the main character. The lady, dog, duck and cat all move in a complicated timing sequence.
It's My Towel is made from pitch pine, ebony and walnut.
The mechanism consists of pulleys and angled pin wheel."
